Jim MacLennan provides experience and professional pedigree to the VentureDNA Ecosystem as leader of our Consulting Services team. In recent years, Jim served as Senior Vice-President and Chief Information Officer at IDEX Corporation, an applied solutions business that sells highly engineered products to customers in a variety of markets worldwide. Jim was responsible for corporate IT service offerings for IDEX’ portfolio of business units and driving innovative thinking through strategic initiatives that leveraged information and technology as growth drivers for the industrial manufacturing industry. Jim is a charismatic leader and active change agent with a broad background in strategic development & planning, applied digital strategy, effective system/process design, and operational planning and management. Jim brings a deep understanding around knowledge management technologies and is a best selling author on the topic. With 35+ years of experience, Jim has delivered measurable and sustainable results in multiple markets and industries, including consumer products, manufacturing, professional services, and healthcare. Jim is a graduate of the University of Norte Dame with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and he received his MBA from DePaul’s Driehaus College of Business. Jim lives in the Chicago area, enjoys the outdoors, and is now writing his second book.
