
Ian Kenyon
Chief Operating Officer and Investment Banker
Ian Kenyon recently joined VentureDNA as Chief
Operating Officer and Investment Banker working
directly with Founder and Managing Partner,
Stewart Dixon. Ian previously served in the Wealth
Management division of Morgan Stanley, managing
client relationships, portfolio analysis and strategy.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, he served as EVP of
Cavendish Global, an investment platform catering to family offices, foundations, private
equity and venture capital in pursuit of impact investment and collaboration
opportunities.
His early career included over a decade of supportive and governance roles within
institutions including the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, the New York
State Historical Association, SUNY Oneonta, Brown University and the Harvard Pilgrim
Health Care Foundation. As a student at Brown, he maintained a regular column in The
Brown Daily Herald, the second-oldest college daily in the United States. He is involved
in local initiatives, and sits on the Governing Board of the Catskill Symphony Orchestra,
serving the Catskill Mountain region, north of New York City.
Ian's understanding of the appropriate intersection between personal relationships,
investment philosophies and corporate operations is invaluable. His extensive
experience and business contacts, combined with those of VentureDNA, create a solid
platform to position young diverse companies for the next stage of growth and success.
Ian studied as an undergraduate at Spring Hill College, SUNY Oneonta, and received
his Master's in Public Affairs from the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs
at Brown University. He holds the Series 7 and 66 license designations, and the
Financial Planning Specialist (FPS) designation.
